First we will collect the ingredients for Matar Paneer Bhaji.

Ingredients to make Matar Paneer Bhaji

  • Onions - 4 pieces - peeled
  • Onion - 1 piece - finely chopped
  • Garlic - 7-8 buds - finely chopped
  • Ginger paste - 1 table spoon (Garlic ginger paste will also work)
  • Tomatoes - 2 pieces - to boil
  • Tomatoes - 1/2 pics - finely chopped
  • Green chili - 3-4 pieces - ground
  • Groundnut seed - 50 grams
  • Poppy seeds - 1/2 bowl
  • Cashews - 5-7 pieces
  • Whole garam masala - 1/2 part of 1 sachet
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 table spoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 + 1/2 table spoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 table spoon
  • Salt - 1/2 - table spoon or as per taste
  • Shahi Paneer masala - 1 table spoon
  • Shahi garam masala - 1 table spoon
  • Cooking Oil - 1 Tbsp
  • Paneer - 200 grams - small little pics
  • Peas - 50 grams - ( Desi peas or Sapal peas )

How to make Pea Paneer Vegetable

Take a steel Embroidery and take as much water as the onions and tomatoes drown in it and heat it.

After this, after adding four pieces of onione to boil and pouring it in water,add both the tomatoes as well,after that cover the steel Embroidery with the lid and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
If you have taken homegrown peas,peel the peas and add them with tomato onione to boil.

When the onions and tomatoes are cooked, sieve in a steel jar and drain the boiled water in a vessel.

When the onion tomatoes have cooled, grind the two separately.
Similarly grind both peanuts and poppy seeds finely, grind them well, if cashew nuts grind them too.

After this, heat the oil in the pan,when the oil is hot,add whole garam masala and cumin seeds and fry on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

After this,add chopped onions and fry them,when the onions turn lightly brown then add chopped garlic buds and fry them till they turn light brown.Now add ginger paste and green chilli paste and fry for 20 to 30 seconds.

Now add the grinded onions and white paste (poppy seeds,cashews,peanuts) and cook until lightly browned,but keep stirring with a spoon to not burn or stick to the bottom.

After this,add grinded tomatoes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now take a bowl,add spices (red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,salt,garam masala powder) and pour the remaining water from the boil and prepare the batter.

Now pour the prepared spice solution into the pan and mix
If the water is less then add some water and mix

Now cook the gravy for 7 to 10 minutes on low flame, when the gravy is cooked it will release the oil
But keep stirring it occasionally so that it doesn't stick to the bottom

Now take a pan, take a little oil and fry the cut Paneer, you can use it without frying.
When the gravy is cooked, add cottage paneer pieces and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

So now the Matar Paneer vegetable prepared by us is ready, you can serve it hot with tandoori roti or chapati.
